Privacy Notice

This notice explains the information Tidewater Repair & Consulting, LLC (“TRaC,” “we,” or “us”) receives through tidewaterrepair.com and the Field Manuals store.

Information you provide

When you use the contact form: your name, phone and/or email, city, message, the page/source of the inquiry, submission time, and the network address recorded for spam/security controls.
When you request the free guide: your email address and request/source details. Marketing email is optional; the checkbox is not selected by default.
When you buy a manual: Stripe processes checkout and payment information. The site records order/session details, product, email, amount, and fulfillment time. TRaC does not receive or store your full card number through this checkout.

How we use it

We use submitted details to answer inquiries, provide requested downloads, process and support orders, prevent abuse, keep business records, and—only if you opt in—send occasional homeowner tips and offers. Transactional order or download messages are separate from marketing. We do not sell personal information.

Marketing recipients can unsubscribe from any marketing email. You can also ask to correct or delete information by contacting us; we may retain information needed for a transaction, legal obligations, or security.

Service providers and site operation

Stripe processes payments. The site is hosted by a service provider, and email delivery uses the mail provider configured for the site. These providers process information as needed to provide their services. Font files on the redesigned pages are hosted with the site. Existing checkout and order pages may load font files from Google Fonts, which may receive standard connection information such as your IP address.

Contact-form and store records are kept on the application server. We use operational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not intentionally use advertising cookies. Your browser or service providers may create necessary technical data to deliver and protect the site. We do not claim that third-party service providers never use their own technical identifiers; see their privacy notices for details.
